Defying the odds : Unfortunately if this were around 4 years ago, I would’ve had way more women to post to represent plus sized black celebrity women, however all of those women who I initially thought of slimmed down…From Jordin Sparks, Raven Symone, Toccara, to Mo’nique and Jennifer Hudson..etc. More than likely, because of the industry. Hopefully it was for their health.

Then American Apparel acted all American Apparel and wouldn’t recognize her victory, even though she had far and away the most votes.
